Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS North Platte NE. Effective from August 21 at 6:35 AM CDT until August 21 at 7:15 AM CDT.
Affected Areas
Southwestern Loup County in north central Nebraska, northeastern Custer County in central Nebraska, and southeastern Blaine County in north central Nebraska. Locations impacted include Sargent, Lillian, Milburn, Round Valley, Walworth, and Gates, including Highway 183 between mile markers 107 and 116.

Expected Conditions
At 6:35 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast of Victoria Springs State Recreation Area, or 15 miles west of Taylor, moving southeast at 15 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail (1.25 inches). Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring.
