Alert Details
The National Weather Service in Juneau has issued a Winter Storm Warning (WSW), which remains in effect until 1:00 PM AKDT this afternoon, Monday, March 9.
Affected Areas
The warning specifically covers the City and Borough of Juneau. A narrow band of heavy snow has been identified over Lemon Creek, Douglas, and Downtown Juneau. Areas further north toward the airport and in the valley have reported lighter snow amounts through the night.
