Alert Details
The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Tornado Warning for east central Vernon Parish in west central Louisiana. The alert was issued at 7:53 PM CST and remains in effect until 8:30 PM CST.
Affected Areas
The warning specifically impacts east central Vernon Parish. According to the National Weather Service, the dangerous storm is expected to be near the following locations:
- Fort Polk: Around 8:00 PM CST
