Alert Details
The National Weather Service in Melbourne FL has issued a Special Marine Warning (NWS/NOAA code: MAW) for coastal and offshore waters. The alert is in effect until 6:15 PM EDT on March 12, 2026.
Affected Areas
The warning covers the following geographic regions:
- Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm
- Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 20-60 nm
Impacted locations include Titusville, Port Canaveral, Jetty Park, Lagrange, and Cape Canaveral. At the time of the alert, gusty outflow winds were located along a line extending from 15 nm east of Klondike Beach to near Playalinda Beach to near Titusville.
