The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, NJ, has issued a Special Marine Warning (SMW) for coastal and outer waters off the New Jersey shore. The alert was issued at 9:57 PM EDT following radar detection of a strong thunderstorm located over Silverton, moving east at 40 knots.
