The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Special Marine Warning for coastal waters. The alert was issued at 7:30 AM CDT on March 8, 2026, and remains in effect for one hour.
Affected Areas
The warning covers the following geographic regions:
- Coastal waters from Cameron, LA, to High Island, TX, out 20 nautical miles.
- Waters from Cameron, LA, to High Island, TX, from 20 to 60 nautical miles.
