Alert Details
The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of southeastern Louisiana and southern Mississippi. The alert was issued at 10:57 PM CST on February 14 and remains in effect until 12:00 AM CST on February 15.
Affected Areas
The warning covers the following jurisdictions:
- Southeastern Louisiana (Parishes): East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Northern Livingston, Southeastern Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, Northern West Baton Rouge, and Southeastern West Feliciana.
- Southern Mississippi (Counties): Amite and Eastern Wilkinson.
Specific locations impacted include Baton Rouge, Zachary, Baker, Denham Springs, New Roads, Jackson, St. Francisville, Clinton, Liberty, Greensburg, Walker, Livingston, Centreville, Albany, Slaughter, Gloster, Wilson, Norwood, Montpelier, and Smithdale.

Additionally, torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
