Vermilion River at Lafayette, Surrey Street Gage in Lafayette Parish and Vermilion Parish, Louisiana.

Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. At 1:15 PM CDT the stage was 7.0 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage (10.0 feet) late this afternoon to a crest of 11.5 feet this evening. Minor flooding of Beaver Park and Vermilionville near the river will occur at 11.5 feet.
Timeline
Onset June 16 at 5:04 PM CDT. In effect until June 17 at 8:12 PM CDT. The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow morning.
