Alert Details

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood Warning for several locations along the White River in Indiana. The alert is effective immediately and remains in place until Thursday, March 5, at 1:00 PM EST.

An additional one to three inches of rain is forecast through Thursday morning, with locally higher amounts possible. These conditions are expected to bring widespread minor river flooding with pockets of moderate flooding to the East Fork White and lower White River basins. At the Eagle Valley Power Plant location, the river is forecast to reach a flood stage of 603.0 feet, at which point low agricultural fields begin to flood.
