Alert Details
A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO. The alert is effective from June 13 at 11:09AM CDT, with onset on June 14 at 7:43AM CDT and ending June 15 at 11:00PM CDT.

The warning covers Johnson County, MO and Pettis County, MO, specifically the Blackwater River at Valley City.

Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage of 22.0 feet to a crest of 24.9 feet early tomorrow afternoon before falling below flood stage late tomorrow evening. At 22.0 feet, woodlands and farm fields along the river begin to flood. At 25.0 feet, County Highway E near Valley City and Highway 23 near the Perry State Wildlife Area are under water.
