Alert Details

A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO. The alert is effective from June 13 at 4:19 PM CDT, with onset at 6:18 AM CDT on June 14 and expiration at 4:30 PM CDT on June 14. The warning remains in effect until June 17 at 10:00 PM CDT.

Expected Conditions

Minor flooding is forecast. At 24.0 feet, cropland and pastures along the river flood. At 29.0 feet, livestock in pastures along the river may be endangered and extensive damage occurs to cropland and pasture. At 3:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 15.6 feet.

Timeline

The river will rise above flood stage (24.0 feet) Sunday morning to 25.1 feet early Sunday afternoon, then fall Sunday evening. It will rise to 27.2 feet Tuesday morning and fall below flood stage late Tuesday evening.
