The National Weather Service in Tiyan GU has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Saipan and Tinian. This alert was issued at 1:35 AM ChST on March 11, 2026, following gauge reports of significant rainfall in the region.
Affected Areas
The warning covers the islands of Saipan and Tinian. Specific locations expected to experience flash flooding include:
- Saipan: Garapan, Dandan, China Town, Tanapag, As Mahetog, Koblerville, Chalan Kanoa (I, II, III, and IV), San Antonio, San Roque, Kagman, Kagman III, Gualo Rai, Afetnas, Chalan Piao, Fananganan, and Chalan Laulau.
