Alert Details
The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Bureau County in north central Illinois. The alert is effective immediately as of 8:01 PM CDT and will remain in place until 12:00 AM CDT on March 11.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Bureau County in north central Illinois. Specific locations expected to experience flash flooding include:
- Princeton, Hennepin, Spring Valley, DePue, and Ladd
- Wyanet, Tiskilwa, Dalzell, Buda, and Cherry
- Malden, Seatonville, Arlington, Dover, and Hollowayville
- Bureau County Fairgrounds, Coal Hollow, Zearing, Ottville, and Providence
Impacted travel routes include Interstate 180 between mile markers 7 and 13, and Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 44 and 72.
