Alert Details
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Upton, NY, has issued a Coastal Flood Warning for coastal regions of Connecticut and New York. The warning is in effect from midnight Sunday night, February 23, through 5:00 AM EST Monday morning.

Residents should prepare for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 feet of inundation above ground level in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. Widespread moderate flooding is likely, which may result in numerous road closures.
