The Environment Agency has issued a flood alert for groundwater flooding in the Meon Valley. This alert, classified as severity level 3, was raised on February 24, 2026, following significant rainfall over the past week.

If heavy rain impacts the Meon Valley, groundwater levels are expected to rise again for several days. The Environment Agency will provide an update on the situation by 6:00 PM on March 3, 2026.
