The Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued an Initial Minor Flood Warning (IDQ20800) for the Upper Brisbane River. The warning was issued at 8:51 pm AEST on Friday, March 13, 2026, following locally moderate rainfall in parts of the catchment.

The primary areas under threat include the Upper Brisbane River at Gregor Creek and the Brisbane River reach extending to Wivenhoe Dam in Queensland. Specific river height observations were also noted for the Stanley River, Kilcoy Creek, Cooyar Creek, Emu Creek, Maronghi Creek, and Cressbrook Creek.
