TORCAE The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a * Tornado Warning for... Northwestern Fairfield County in central South Carolina... Northeastern Newberry County in central South Carolina... * Until 630 AM EDT. * At 605 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Blair, or 9 miles northwest of VC Summer Nuclear Station, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Fairfield and northeastern Newberry Counties, including the following locations... Henderson Island and Feasterville Fire Station.
