TORMHX The National Weather Service in Newport has issued a * Tornado Warning for... East central Lenoir County in eastern North Carolina... Northwestern Craven County in eastern North Carolina... Southeastern Pitt County in eastern North Carolina... West central Beaufort County in eastern North Carolina... * Until 400 PM EDT. * At 312 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Fort Barnwell, or 12 miles east of Kinston, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Damaging tornado. SOURCE...Emergency management confirmed tornado. At 310PM, damage was reported near 4500 Middle Road near Dover. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught withou shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * Locations impacted include... Washington, Grifton, Calico, Shelmerdine, Black Jack, Fort Barnwell, Wilmar, Chocowinity, Grimesland, Dover, and Gardnerville.
