East Central Burke County in western North Carolina... Southern Caldwell County in western North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 257 PM EDT, Floodwaters continued to progress through the Catawba River tributaries with any high water conditions becoming increasingly confined to the Catawba River proper and Lake Rhodhiss. Continue to be wary of lake backwater effect flooding the Lower Creek confluence.
