Flood Warning issued by NWS Huntsville AL (NOAA). Effective from June 7 at 5:06 PM CDT until June 7 at 9:00 PM CDT. Replaces previous Flash Flood Warning.
Affected Areas
Portions of north central and northwest Alabama, including Colbert, Lauderdale, Lawrence, and Limestone counties. Specific locations include Florence, Athens, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Rogersville, Ardmore, Killen, Town Creek, Lexington, Leighton, Courtland, St. Florian, Tanner, Underwood-Petersville, North Courtland, Hillsboro, Elkmont, Anderson, and Lester.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Expected Conditions
Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches possible.
