An Extreme Heat Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Sacramento CA. The alert is effective from 11 AM PDT Sunday, June 14, to 11 PM PDT Tuesday, June 16.

Western Shasta County Foothills Between 1000-3000 ft; South-Central Shasta County Including Redding Metro; Sierra Nevada of Tehama-Butte-Plumas Counties Between 1000-3000 ft; Western Tehama County Foothills Between 1000-3000 ft; Northern Sacramento Valley in Tehama County; Butte County Below 1000 ft.
What You Should Do
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside.
