How the Underlying Data Is Sourced and Checked

According to our own methodology, each source is polled on a schedule matched to the issuing agency's own update cadence: USGS earthquake data every 30 minutes, NOAA weather alerts every hour, and CPSC/FDA recalls every 4 hours. No fact is invented: product names, dates, locations, and severity classifications are read directly from the source notice and preserved, and a structured validation stage screens for missing or malformed key fields before anything is published. Data Reflects Source Release Cycles

Records on Areazine reflect the most recent source data we have processed and can lag an official release. Values can change after we ingest a record, and source data may contain errors or be incomplete. Always confirm the current information directly with the primary source before acting.
