Southwestern Otsego County in central New York... * Until 245 PM EDT. * At 221 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Mt Upton, or 13 miles southeast of Norwich, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Gilbertsville around 225 PM EDT. Otego around 230 PM EDT. Oneonta and West End around 240 PM EDT.
