TORRAH The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a * Tornado Warning for... Northeastern Harnett County in central North Carolina... Southwestern Johnston County in central North Carolina... * Until 115 PM EDT. * At 1241 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Dunn, or 8 miles east of Lillington, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Dunn and Benson around 1245 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Coats, Coats Crossroads, Erwin, and Four Oaks. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 81 and 79. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 316 and 329.

If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
