Greene County in west central Iowa... * Until 615 AM CDT. * At 546 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Scranton, or 10 miles west of Jefferson, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Scranton and Ralston around 550 AM CDT. Churdan around 600 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Dana, Churdan, Grand Junction, Paton, Scranton, Jefferson Municipal Airport, Rippey, and Ralston.
