Northwestern Hodgeman County in southwestern Kansas... Southeastern Lane County in west central Kansas... * Until 730 AM CDT. * At 654 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 12 miles south of Alamota, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Finney, southwestern Ness, northwestern Hodgeman and southeastern Lane Counties.
