Northwestern Carroll County in west central Iowa... * Until 515 AM CDT. * At 444 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 6 miles south of Charter Oak, or 13 miles west of Denison, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Denison around 455 AM CDT. Deloit around 500 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Kiron, Charter Oak, Deloit, Vail, Westside, Schleswig, Denison Municipal Airport, and Arion.
