Neuse and Bay Rivers... * Until 515 PM EDT. * At 411 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located over The Vicinity Of Slocum Creek, or 12 nm west of Oriental. The severe thunderstorm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... The Vicinity Of Hancock Creek, The Vicinity Of Slocum Creek, The Vicinity Of Clubfoot Creek, and Mid Point Of Cherry Branch-Minnesott Beach Ferry Terminal.
