Eastern Bay... * Until 245 PM EDT. * At 109 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Aberdeen Proving Ground to near Fort Smallwood State Park to 20 nm north of Key Bridge, moving southeast at 45 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 48 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Boaters could easily be thrown overboard by suddenly higher wind and waves capsizing their vessel. Boats could suffer significant damage in high winds. * Locations impacted include... Choptank River, Knapps Narrows Bridge, Tilghman Island, Blackwalnut Point, Chesapeake Beach, Greenbury Point, North Beach, Herring Bay, Sandy Point State Park, Highland Beach, Severn River, Dares Beach, Bloody Point Light, Chesapeake Bay Bridge, James Island, Calvert Cliffs, Thomas Point Light, Poplar Island, Shady Side, and Drum Point.
