Tornado Warning issued by NWS Mobile AL. Effective from 7:55 AM CDT to 8:45 AM CDT on June 18, 2026. Severity: Extreme. Certainty: Observed. Urgency: Immediate.
Affected Areas
Southern Perry County and central Stone County in southeastern Mississippi. The storm was located over Perkinston, or 6 miles south of Wiggins, and will be near Wiggins and Perkinston around 8:00 AM CDT.

Expected Conditions
A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Perkinston moving northeast at 25 mph. Radar indicated rotation. Max hail size up to 0.75 inches. Flying debris will be dangerous. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
