Tornado Warning issued by NWS Omaha/Valley NE. Effective from 4:00 PM CDT until 5:00 PM CDT on May 18, 2026.
Affected Areas
Nemaha County in southeastern Nebraska. The storm was located 4 miles west of Elk Creek or 5 miles south of Tecumseh at 3:59 PM CDT, moving east at 45 mph. It will be near Auburn around 4:20 PM CDT and Brownville around 4:35 PM CDT. Other impacted locations include Brownville State Recreation Area, Duck Creek Recreation Area, The Highway 62 and 105 Junction, and Howe.
