Southwestern Muscatine County in east central Iowa... * Until 830 PM CDT. * At 802 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Letts, or 8 miles northeast of Columbus Junction, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Damaging tornado and ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Law enforcement confirmed tornado. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * The tornado will be near... Muscatine, Fruitland, Ardon, and Muscatine Municipal Airport around 810 PM CDT.
