TORLOT The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a * Tornado Warning for... Northwestern Livingston County in central Illinois... Southern La Salle County in north central Illinois... * Until 615 PM CDT. * At 515 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was located near Washburn, or 11 miles southeast of Lacon, moving east at 40 mph. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW! HAZARD...Damaging tornado. SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado. IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes, businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction is possible. * The tornado will be near... Cornell around 545 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Dana, Ransom, Rutland, and Long Point.
