Affected Areas
The warning covers northwestern Livingston County in central Illinois and southern La Salle County in north central Illinois. At 5:15 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was located near Washburn, or 11 miles southeast of Lacon, moving east at 40 mph. The tornado will be near Cornell around 5:45 PM CDT. Other locations impacted include Dana, Ransom, Rutland, and Long Point.
