The warning covers southeastern Kenedy County and north central Willacy County in Deep South Texas. The storm will be near Port Mansfield, Port Mansfield Airport, and Port Mansfield Chamber Of Commerce around 7:15 PM CDT.

At 6:49 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 12 miles south of Kenedy County Wind Farms, or 13 miles east of Armstrong, moving southeast at 40 mph. Hazard includes tornado and quarter size hail. Source is radar indicated rotation.
