TORDVN The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a * Tornado Warning for... Jackson County in east central Iowa... * Until 715 PM CDT. * At 629 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Onslow, or 13 miles east of Anamosa, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Monmouth, Canton, Baldwin, Crab Town, Emeline, Maquoketa Caves State Park, Ironhills, and Eden Valley Refuge around 635 PM CDT. Nashville, South Gary Owen, and Buckhorn around 640 PM CDT. Maquoketa, Fulton, Hurstville, Maquoketa Municipal Airport, and Otter Creek around 645 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include Andrew, Jackson County Fairgrounds, Cottonville, Springbrook and Spragueville.

If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris. To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in the Quad Cities.
