TORIND The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a * Tornado Warning for... Central Monroe County in south central Indiana... Southeastern Owen County in west central Indiana... Northeastern Greene County in southwestern Indiana... * Until 1145 PM EDT. * At 1111 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Spencer, or 14 miles west of Bloomington, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * Locations impacted include... Bloomington, Spencer, Ellettsville, Stinesville, Indiana University, Woodville Hills, Lake Lemon, Unionville, and Whitehall.
