TORPAH The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a * Tornado Warning for... East central Perry County in south central Illinois... Southwestern Jefferson County in south central Illinois... Northwestern Franklin County in south central Illinois... * Until 745 PM CDT. * At 700 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Tamaroa, or near Du Quoin, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Sesser around 705 PM CDT. Rend Lake Area around 710 PM CDT. Benton around 725 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Ina, Nason, Bonnie, and St. Johns. This includes Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 73 and 85.
