South central Holmes County in the Panhandle of Florida... Washington County in the Panhandle of Florida... * Until 1115 AM CDT. * At 1025 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located 9 miles northwest of Vernon, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * These dangerous storms will be near... Vernon around 1030 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Hinsons Crossroads, Caryville, Moose Pond, Westville, Whitehead Crossroads, Fountain, Bradford, Alford, Camps Head, and Holmes Valley.
