The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Tornado Warning, effective from 8:15 PM CDT until 9:00 PM CDT on April 27, 2026.
Affected Areas
The warning affects northeastern Clinton County, southern Fayette County, and Marion County in south central Illinois. Specific locations include Beckemeyer, Carlyle, Boulder, Shattuc, Fairman, Sandoval, Posey, Huey, Ferrin, Hoffman, Keyesport, Junction City, Vernon, Selmaville, Tonti, and Alma. This also includes Carlyle Lake Recreational Area and Interstate 57 in Illinois between exits 116 and 127.
