TORILX The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a * Tornado Warning for... West central Christian County in central Illinois... South central Sangamon County in central Illinois... * Until 730 PM CDT. * At 647 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Divernon, or 7 miles northeast of Virden, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Pawnee and Divernon around 650 PM CDT. Kincaid around 700 PM CDT. Jeisyville around 705 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include Taylorville. This also includes Sangchris Lake State Park. This includes Interstate 55 between mile markers 77 and 87.
