A Tornado Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Wilmington OH. The alert is effective from August 15 at 8:00 PM EDT until August 15 at 8:30 PM EDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers southeastern Shelby County, west central Champaign County and northeastern Miami County in west central Ohio. Locations impacted include St. Paris, Fletcher, Kiser Lake State Park, Millerstown, Carysville, Ballou and Rosewood.

At 8:00 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Piqua, moving east at 20 mph. Radar indicated rotation. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
