Southeastern Berrien County in southwestern Michigan... * Until 715 PM EDT. * At 628 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Berrien Springs, or near Niles, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Niles around 635 PM EDT. Dowagiac around 640 PM EDT. Cassopolis around 645 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Penn, Vandalia, Diamond Lake, Dailey, La Grange, Paradise Lake, Calvin Center, Sumnerville, Pokagon, and Indian Lake.
