Affected Areas
Berrien County, MI and Cass County, MI in southwestern Michigan, including central Cass County and southeastern Berrien County. The storm was located near Berrien Springs or Niles at 6:28 PM EDT and will be near Niles around 6:35 PM EDT, Dowagiac around 6:40 PM EDT, and Cassopolis around 6:45 PM EDT. Other impacted locations include Penn, Vandalia, Diamond Lake, Dailey, La Grange, Paradise Lake, Calvin Center, Sumnerville, Pokagon, and Indian Lake.

Expected Conditions
A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Berrien Springs or Niles, moving east at 30 mph. Radar indicated rotation. Max hail size up to 0.75 inches. Impacts include dangerous flying debris, damage or destruction to mobile homes, damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles, and likely tree damage.
