Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds are occurring in the outflow in advance of thunderstorms. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
Expected Conditions
At 10:51 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 nm southwest of Five Fathoms Buoy to Bethany Beach to 21 nm west of Indian River Inlet Bridge to 19 nm north of Bivalve to 15 nm east of Miles River, moving south at 25 knots. Hazard includes wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
