Flood Warning issued by NWS Charleston WV. Effective from May 25, 2026 at 12:05 AM EDT until May 25 at 5:00 AM EDT.
Affected Areas
East Central Harrison County and Taylor County in northern West Virginia. Specific locations include Clarksburg, Grafton, Bridgeport, Flemington, McGee, Tygart Lake State Park, Meadland, Rosemont, Knottsville and Thornton.

Expected Conditions
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. At 12:03 AM EDT, emergency management reported heavy rain with some roads experiencing flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible.
