A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Charleston WV. The alert is effective from 3:16 AM EDT on September 11, 2026 until 6:00 AM EDT on September 11, 2026.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Calhoun County, Gilmer County and Ritchie County in West Virginia. Flooding is expected in northern Gilmer County, including the communities of Glenville, Newberne, Coxs Mills, Tanner, Troy, Baldwin and Linn. US 33 near Glenville is reported impassible in multiple locations.
