Flood Warning issued by NWS Charleston WV. Effective from August 16 at 12:28 PM EDT until August 16 at 9:30 PM EDT.
Affected Areas
Central Boone County, Southern Kanawha County, Southwestern Fayette County, and Central Raleigh County in West Virginia. Specific locations include Beckley, Mabscott, Sophia, Dry Creek, Prosperity, Bradley, Crab Orchard, Macarthur, Stanaford, Coal City, Beaver, Daniels, Shady Spring, Van, Whitesville, Lester, Sylvester, Arnett, Artie and Glen Daniel. Highways affected include Route 19 near mile marker 1, Interstate 64 between mile markers 120 and 128, and West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 31 and 52.
