A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Charleston WV. The alert is effective from May 25, 2026 at 1:16 AM EDT until May 25, 2026 at 6:30 AM EDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Barbour, Harrison, Lewis, and Upshur counties in West Virginia, specifically West Central Barbour County, Northwestern Upshur County, Southern Harrison County, and Northeastern Lewis County. Locations impacted include Clarksburg, Bridgeport, Stonewood, Nutter Fort, Anmoore, West Milford, Lost Creek, Jane Lew, and Despard. Flooding affects Interstate 79 between mile markers 104 and 120 and Route 50 between mile markers 76 and 82.
