Flood Warning issued by NWS Pittsburgh PA. Effective from August 7, 2026 at 12:27 PM EDT until August 7, 2026 at 3:45 PM EDT. Replaces Flash Flood Warning.
Affected Areas
Central Armstrong County, South Central Clarion County, Northwestern Indiana County, and Southwestern Jefferson County in west central Pennsylvania. Specific locations include Kittanning, Ford City, West Kittanning, Rural Valley, Worthington, Dayton, West Hills, Manorville, Ford Cliff, Applewold, Lenape Heights, Timblin, Templeton, Distant and Mahoning Creek Lake.
What You Should Do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Expected Conditions
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
