Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa NM. Effective from August 1 at 8:33 PM MDT until August 1 at 11:45 PM MDT. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
West Central Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico, mainly rural areas. Flooding likely on back roads north and south of Interstate 10, west of the Border Patrol Checkpoint, and east of the Luna County line, including County Highway C-001 and I-10 frontage roads near Exit 116. The Mason Draw drainage area has been particularly hard hit.
