A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa NM. The alert is effective from June 14, 2026 at 5:23 PM MDT until June 14, 2026 at 7:45 PM MDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers southwestern Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico, including areas west of the Rio Grande and north of the I-10 corridor. Specific locations include Fairacres, Picacho, Picacho Hills, and the Fairacres Area. Flash flooding is likely in arroyos around the Box Canyon and Picacho Peak hiking trails, as well as low water crossings and poor drainage areas.
